It started with one Japanese exam.
Hi, I'm Mark Filipkov, the person behind Rinome.
Rinome began as a small personal project after I finished my Japanese N5 course and wanted one place to review everything before my final exam. Once it worked, I thought other learners might enjoy using it too.
My time in Japan gave the idea another direction. In 2024, near the end of my working holiday, I worked with vehicle exports and discovered how much I enjoyed helping people access things from Japan that are difficult to find in Europe. Today, Rinome brings those ideas together: Japanese learning, vehicle sourcing, and personal help with cards, figures, workshop parts, and other items that may not be available online or shipped internationally.
Languages have always shaped how I connect with people. I speak German, English, and Russian fluently, and I'm currently learning Japanese. I've seen how much warmer and more personal a conversation becomes when people can communicate in the language they feel at home in. That is one of the reasons I enjoy working with people from different countries.
The long-term dream is to offer cars and motorcycles for unforgettable trips through Japan. During my time as a language student, I will begin by focusing Rinome on sourcing and coordination, building it step by step and handling everything personally.
